The North Shore web site is quite a departure from previous district sites. For the first time, several districts in the Capitol Area Council are basing their sites on the same content management system - Joomla. While each site will have it's own unique "personality", Armadillo, Bee Cave, Chisholm Trail, and North Shore districts are cooperating to share common components and knowledge. This will have significant benefits going forward.

 Joomla will allow us to broaden the base of content administrators, helping to make the site more current and relevant. We're also considering adding forums to allow our district Scouters to share information and participate in discussions on various topics - a sort of "virtual Roundtable". We currently have a lot of "placeholders" for which we'll be adding content over the next several weeks. We've already added calendar items for recurring district meetings and are in the process of adding other events. So stay tuned for more developments.
